New Mexico Poetry Review, published semiannually in April and October, is a new magazine of fine writing based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.   We invite submissions of strong, imaginative, well-crafted poems by both new talents and established writers.  NMPR also welcomes poetry-related essays and interviews.

About the editor:

Kathleen Johnson, editor and publisher of New Mexico Poetry Review, received her BFA in history of art and MFA in creative writing from the University of Kansas.  She is a freelance book critic, specializing in poetry.  Her collection of poems, Burn, was published by Woodley Press in 2008.   A fifth-generation New Mexican, she lives in Santa Fe.
